Hi,
I have a question:

How can be used in Matlab / Simulink mathematical libraries together with the libraries ALTERA DSP?

I would like to use a derivative of fractional order in the analysis of chaotic systems.
To create equations with fractional derivative is free toolbox called NID:
Valério D., Ninteger v. 2.3 - Fractional Control Toolbox
for MatLab, User and programmer manual, Technical
University of Lisbona, Lisbona 2005, http://web.

How can this toolbox used to build the chaotic models in Simulink together with Altera DSP libraries?

Adam : So I have looked into implementing fractional order ODEs on an FPGA. It is a little involved because we need to implement the error function. There has been some work on FPGA implementation:

"IMPLEMENTATION OF FRACTIONAL-ORDER OPERATORS ON FIELD PROGRAMMABLE GATE ARRAYS". Jiang, C. X. et. al. Advances in Fractional Calculus: Theoretical Developments and Applications in Physics and Engineering, pp. 333–346. Springer, 2007.

But, to my knowledge, no one has implemented a fractional order chaotic ODE on an FPGA. I would recommend hence that you read the chapter above first and then work on the FPGA implementation.
